What is the Pole Station?
It is the device designed to charge up to two electric cars in public or private locations. It is installed in public outdoor places such as roads or car parks and has the following features.
Two standard connectors supported: 3A (Scame) and Type 2 (Mennekes).
The sockets allow the use of a single phase or three phases, according to the type chosen, with a maximum consumption of 16A at 230V, for a power of 3.3kW and with a maximum consumption of 32A at 400V, for a power of 22kW.
It handles two recharges at a time; it allows the use of both outlets at the same time.
The average charging time for an electric car with a capacity of 20 kWh is about 1 hour with a power outlet of 22kW; it is about 7 hours with a power outlet of 3.3kW.
